The project provides access to the 200-acre parcel that was acquired during a past land exchange with The Broadmoor, and the views are stunning. The new trails are bidirectional and open to non-motorized, multi-recreational users.

We just wrapped up an amazing Hot Spot Week full of fun and educational events all focused on lessening our impacts in our parks and open spaces. Thanks to everyone who participated!  Our outdoor spaces are one of the things that make Colorado Springs the best place to live, work, and play.

Crews have started restoring a historic pavilion in Monument Valley Park. Rehabilitation efforts on the nearly 100-year-old structure include repairing the roof, removing and replacing the pavilion ceiling and rotten wood fascia around the pavilion, and repainting the entire structure.
