    Pikes Peak Library District

    The Pikes Peak Library District offers free access to the internet at all locations.  In addition, you can borrow a device or a hotspot for free. 

    Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

    The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program that helps many low income households pay for internet service and internet connected devices.  Learn if you qualify and apply:

    Comcast Lift Zones

    Internet Essentials from Comcast

    FREE home internet – when paired with the Affordable Connectivity Program. Those who are eligible may sign up for Internet Essentials for only $9.95/month + tax with no contract and free equipment – then enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to get your service for FREE.  Opportunities for low-cost, unlimited data, mobile service through Xfinity Mobile also available through the ACP benefit.

    StratusIQ Vital Connect Program

    StratusIQ is an authorized provider with the federal ACP program where qualified customers can receive a $30/mo discount to any Internet plan.  In addition StratusIQ offers a discounted Stratus-phere WIFI service for $7.95/mo to any customer that is qualified through the ACP program. 

    StratusIQ brings Fiber to Freedom Springs

    Freedom Springs provides permanent housing for homeless veterans.  It is the first of that type in Colorado Springs and StratusIQ is proud to have worked with the Vecino group to bring fiber to the building.  StratusIQ provides complimentary gigabit speed Internet service in the common computer lab and through the common areas with a free public WiFi service.  Residents have the options to subscribe to up to 1Gbps internet service in the individual apartments.  The StratusIQ – Fiber TV product and phone service is also available to residents throughout the building.

    Citywide Network

    Colorado Springs Utilities is building a city-wide fiber network.  Ting Internet will lease access to this fiber network to provide access to internet for every home and business in the city.  Learn more:

    Internet Essentials from Comcast provides FREE access to hundreds of hours of educational and digital skills content to help individuals and families navigate online. Trainings include Internet basics, online safety and security, and more. 

    Goodwill

    Free training. Under the Topics menu, you can choose to learn about Microsoft Office, basic computer skills, internet skills and more  Learning is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

    Office of Innovation Digital Equity Program

    The Office of Innovation believes all Colorado Springs residents should have access to affordable, reliable broadband service, internet-enabled devices, and possess the knowledge to use those devices.  To eliminate the digital divide in Colorado Springs, the Office of Innovation will promote existing efforts and pursue new projects to provide:
    1. Affordable, reliable broadband service
    2. Internet-enabled devices
    3. Digital skills training
    4. One-on-one technical support
